I am by no means a portrait photographer, as my primary focus is on photographing homes every day. However, from time to time, I find myself saying yes to the opportunity of taking portraits. A good friend of mine has asked me to photograph her niece on several occasions throughout the years, and when it finally came time for those special senior portraits, I was once again called to action and happy to create magic.

I went to the Cherry Springs Star Party again….

Got out this past weekend to try out some new lenses I picked up. My friend was kind enough to be a model for the evening. This was fun. I think I’d like to get back into taking portraits.

My latest trip to Cherry Spring was a cloudy disappointment.

Shot a beautiful waterfront listing for my friend Matt Bearinger. This was an all day shoot. I arrived around 9 AM and didn’t finish until after the sun set.
